4 or 6 cyl? I have a 2014 limited w ADI. how do you like the NAV? I feel like my TomTom was smarter & easier to use. wish it was smart enough to know my favorite routes so when I tell it to take me home from work it plots the course I always take. I use the NAV all the time, even tho I know the route. it helps me plan my arrival time, etc

Now this vehicle is the same as the 2014 in every way.
My 2014 would only shift into 8th gear when on the big highways and doing 100 plus kmh.
The 2017 moves into 8th gear at about 85 kmh and the revs drop back quite a bit.
Not sure if I will save fuel or not.
Any time in 8th will save fuel big time.
100kmh+ is 62 mph+
85kmh is 52 mph
What I have found was the AL on the ZF can be a little touchy.
On my 2014 I had an TCM update last year and it reset my AL. The shifting was fine but it would not go into 8th on the highway for a couple hunded miles and then only at 65mph+.
I could not even break 30 mpg on that first trip after that update. It took about 600 miles till it started to use 8th as low as 53mph.
Taking my normal trips to the big city at 600 miles round trip with half at 55 and half at 70 I can average 32-33. If I keep it at 65 or a bit lower I might hit 34.
Had a similar but longer experience when the Cherokee was brand new.
8th does make a big difference.
