2014 Cherokee Limited standard equipment/accessories?

I'm looking at a 2014 Cherokee Limited and it's missing some things that would have been included when it was new. It has no cargo cover (did these come with that?), no owners' manual, and 1 key.

Not knowing exactly what should have come with it (the extra key and owners' manual obviously would have), or what else to look for, does anyone know of a list of standard equipment and accessories that came with every Limited?

I know it's common for used cars to come with 1 key but that's not going to work for me. We got one key with my wife's used Altima and I've always regretted not arguing for a 2nd key. I'm not doing it again this time.

If the key and owners' manual are lost I want to negotiate the cost of replacement into the final price of the car. As well as anything else that should be in the car that isn't.

You can use the VIN to find the as-sold window sticker (with a complete list of the options and standard equipment for that particular vehicle) at http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Numbe...cker/Jeep.html

How people can manage to lose one of these monster Enter-and-Go key fobs is a mystery but my Limited also came with only the one key fob so I made the supply and programming of a second part of the sale...at $380 CDN, they ain't cheap! Of course, all of the manuals and sales brochures, etc., are available online (and missing stuff like cargo nets or tonneau covers can be bought through Mopar).

The manuals don't come with the cars anymore, they come with a user guide, you can download all of the literature here http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/

The window tint really is quite good on the KL, I carry thousands of dollars worth of tools in mine and don't worry. Unless you store really shiny valuable stuff behind the rear seat when it is UP, the cargo cover will just end up being in the way and you will leave it in the garage.

Go to bat for the key(s) though. One key only does suck.

Thanks, guys. The cargo cover it sounds like might have been optional. Not entirely sure, but from what I can tell it's an add-on for current models and probably was as well in 2014.

The key I will definitely argue for, though. We took 1 key on my wife's car and I still regret it. Especially since that car doesn't have a remote starter, I always get nervous warming it up and shutting the doors with the lone key in it.

Thanks for the help! And of course I welcome any other tips anyone has for buying a used KL.

cargo cover is virtually useless due to heavy tint on back window. but pass on the car. 1 key, or key "fob" is unacceptable. fyi there's a ton of used KLs out there. take your time shopping

The cargo cover was standard equipment on the '14 Cherokee Limited and optional on years after. Mine sits in the garage. The cargo space in these is so poor, the cover is always in the way.

I doubt I'd even use the cargo cover, I'm more looking at it as a missing piece of original equipment that I can mention in negotiating a better price. Between the missing key and missing cargo cover, I figure that's good for another $300-400 off the price.

I'd prefer they replace the missing key, but I'd settle for a discounted price that covers the expense of getting a 2nd key myself.
