Geez Unc, not like it's a competition or anything 😒
I got my Latitude because I wanted 4WD capability. I wasn't too picky about what I got, because I was buying used and I kinda had to take what was available. I just wanted 3 things: V6, 4X4, black or dark blue. I didn't know there were different "levels" of 4WD systems, and I didn't understand the differences between Trailhawks and non-Trailhawks. (My Latitude has Active Drive 1.) Now that I've owned it for almost a year and been on this forum for that long, I've taken much more of an interest in it all and now I'm kicking myself for not just getting a Trailhawk at the time. Don't get me wrong, I love my Latitude and it has served me well, and I have no doubt it will continue to do so, but I think I could have even more fun with a legit Trail Rated Cherokee. So if you're already on the fence about getting a TH or not, I say go for it. But it's a very personal decision, just think it over carefully.
(EDIT: That is, IF you do indeed choose a Cherokee in the first place)
Where are you from, anyway? And what's the "northern part"?

Oh trust me he praised how he has a hands free lift gate on his Sedona minivan 😒😒
But I'm from a very southern part of New Mexico (Las Cruces to be exact and no NM is not part of Mexico LOL). In my town we don't really get snow and stuff. Just rarely. I do have a cousin that lives about 2 hrs away from my area and they do get a lot of snow. So we usually go up there around February ish. And in my household we only have FWD vehicles. So 4WD or AWD is recommended if I do go to the twin that's two hrs away from me or I go to places like Denver or even Michigan for job. Since the dealers around me only have Trailhawk and latitudes, that's where I'm forced to get it unless they have a limited/high altitude models available with the pentastar and the technology group just because I prefer to test the actual model in stock then if I want to order it then I will do that. I just saw the hydro blue one that has a massive amount of discount so that's what caught my eyes.
