2017 hydro blue THL plus

So recently I've came across from looking at this hydro blue THL plus that I saw at my local dealer as my cousin bought a 2017 granite metallic latitude with the four cylinder. (http://www.jackkeymotor.net/new/Jeep...7766b93ed4.htm). I thought it looks very badass. I have yet to taken for a spin yet. If everything is good for this TH then I might replace my GMC Terrain with this in the future. This has everything except for nav and sunroof. It looks like a good deal. However a friend of mine does have the mango tango TH but has warned me about the number of miles in one tank that you can go. So I kinda just wanted to know the actually miles you can run in one tank? Also if there's still 9 speed transmission problems though? Because if the actually miles in one tank is pretty low then I probably either have to look at limited or something else that has the technology group. My other options on my car list is the Buick Envision, the next GMC Terrain, or the new Buick Regal TourX wagon. I do try not to buy the first year vehicle because I understand there are glitches/problems with first year vehicles though.

I can just squeeze 600km from a tank on the highway, more like 500km around town if that helps. That's running 1.5in lift and 31.5 Goodyear Duratracs.

I get right around 300-310 miles on one tank if I go from full to empty. That's in a V6 4x4, and I have a heavy foot.

I'm curious Vic, why does gas tank capacity determine whether or not you want the Tech package? What does one have to do with the other?

Also, I have a 2014 Latitude I bought used a year ago with 34k miles. I've since put about 12,000 more miles on it. I'd say the tranny on mine is about 99.9% problem-free. Once in a great while (probably once per several hundred instances) I will get a rough downshift when coming to a stop. It happens maybe 1-2 times per month, at the most. And I think it's under a particular set of circumstances. Seems to be only when coming to a quick stop--maybe I press the brake then make a sudden change in pressure at the exact right instant and confuse the computer? Just a theory, I haven't been able to peg it down yet. But at this point I don't think there's something actually WRONG with it, I suspect it's just an anomaly.

I usually don't let my tank below 1/2. Most of my driving is city. 13 - 14 mpg in the winter, 18 - 20 in summer. When I do get on the interstate, I have gotten 29 - 30 with the Cruise set at 76 mph!

Looking at the window sticker, I can't build a Cherokee like mine. I have all of the factory options except the CD, and my sticker was over $45,000. My black wheels were $495! I don't see the amplified 9 speaker either. Mine was $495. The options are grouped together differently.

2016 Cherokee Trailhawk: Mango Tango Pearl Coat over Black.
OPTIONS: Every Available Factory Option/Package Except Remote CD Player.
MODS: Whispbars; Mopar Cargo Cover; Mopar Cargo Mat; Mopar/KICKER 9 Speaker Upgrade; KICKER Sub and Amp; Ziebart Undercoating; aFe CAI.
FUTURE MODS: Remote CD Player; Mopar Rock Rails; Rear Fog Lights.

I honestly just preferred to have the technology group but it has nothing to do with the fuel range though. I didn't like the look of the center stack without the technology group aka missing buttons. And my uncle has since praised how his new Kia is the best in our family. But that's just me being nit picky. The fuel range part is because my GMC could do about 350+ miles in the city for one tank and 425-430+ in the hwy. but that's just because it does have a larger tank at 18.5 gallons with the V6. The 3 dealerships around me doesn't really have any limited, high altitude, or the overland models at all. So that leaves with the TrailHawk or the TrailHawk L plus. It's honestly still up in the air just because if I do start a job up on northern part then I would probably need the 4X4 capability.

I got my Latitude because I wanted 4WD capability. I wasn't too picky about what I got, because I was buying used and I kinda had to take what was available. I just wanted 3 things: V6, 4X4, black or dark blue. I didn't know there were different "levels" of 4WD systems, and I didn't understand the differences between Trailhawks and non-Trailhawks. (My Latitude has Active Drive 1.) Now that I've owned it for almost a year and been on this forum for that long, I've taken much more of an interest in it all and now I'm kicking myself for not just getting a Trailhawk at the time. Don't get me wrong, I love my Latitude and it has served me well, and I have no doubt it will continue to do so, but I think I could have even more fun with a legit Trail Rated Cherokee. So if you're already on the fence about getting a TH or not, I say go for it. But it's a very personal decision, just think it over carefully.

(EDIT: That is, IF you do indeed choose a Cherokee in the first place)

Where are you from, anyway? And what's the "northern part"?
