I installed my Kit a couple days ago. Is it normal to get the low beam warning at start up every time?

No indicator light stays on or anything, its only a couple seconds after startup that I get a little ding, it shows Low Beam light out or something, then goes away.

I believe I did the install correctly.

It's a voltage thing. Mine does it randomly. If the battery is low(er) it does it. On cold starts its 50/50 but warm starts it never comes on.

Mine goes off almost exclusively when I'm leaving home. Because my Cherokee lives under a carport. I think auto-headlights cause my error.

Interesting, so far I have waited for it each time, and believe I have seen it. But ill keep checking. Thanks.

The auto-headlights may be part of the reason it goes off. I will try a couple days of not using the auto-headlights and see what happens.

For me, even when it appears it's gone in about 2-3 seconds, and doesn't affect anything.

It's a non-issue, just like the reverse error with my LEDs.

Are these full plug/play are is there splicing involved ? Also will they void warranty, I don't believe I came across either question, it seems like there were a lot of kits that are spliced in with a resistor , and others that are fully plug and play. I'd like to get these next but I don't want to void my warranty , and or do any internal damage .

The only thing you must do is drill a hole in the back housing cap for the wire grommet. Everything else is plug in and go. No warranty is voided unless the issue is specifically cause by these bulbs and they can prove that.

That's great to hear , I'll have to set some money aside for a set of these now that I know there is little to no issues .

Are the kits specific for our vehicles or do I need to purchase anything specifically with them? I've always ordered from DDM so this company is new to me.
