Ok, I was gonna wait until I got all my pictures together before I posted but the ones I installed are available for 40% off right now through a review site. It says it's running for two months but I don't know how far into the two months it is so I thought I would throw the initial info up and then do install pictures later. They were also on Amazon Prime but now I see that they're coming straight from Hong Kong.
These are not plug-n-play but they're no more difficult to install than any of the others. I also don't have a light meter so I can't technically confirm the lumens. However, I've installed LEDs before so I think I have at least a little experience with these. Here goes:
Holy moly these things are BRIGHT!!!

They're advertised as 10400 lumen (total) and if they're not I'm scared to know just how bright that is because these things will flat out light up the road in front of you!
I've had them in for about a week now and last night was my first long (3 hour) journey using them. On low beam they illuminate both sides of the road and shoulders and trees to the limit of the projector throw. On high beam they throw two overlapping complete circles of light that illuminate highway signs close to a mile down the road. They are so bright that they seem to illuminate the haze in the air even when it's a perfectly clear night. There is no way you can outrun the throw of the light unless maybe you're way outside the interstate speed limit.
Seriously, they're bright. I'm thankful these Cherokees have a mechanical shutter because otherwise the cutoff would not be sharp enough and I would be scared of being pulled over for the lights being so bright.
I'll come back tomorrow and fill in details of how to install etc., but for the adventurous types if you sign up for snagshout you can get them for $59 if you do a review on Amazon.
