Ordered this today. Hopefully the weather will be good for the install.

Got mine installed at lunch time. No EVIC's at all. I tried every combination to make it throw an error. Lights on, Auto on, Lights off then on again, nothing. Rock solid. Very pleased. When it's dark, I'll add a couple pics.

Thanks Steve & Xenon Depot for making this excellent product. Now, if anybody wants a set of LED's...

Installing mine right now, just ran back inside to take a picture of the diagram so I know for sure. Wish me luck. Airbox removed so far.

Good luck man! I went through the wheel wells. Just find it easier than removing the battery and air box.

Mission successful!

The past few times I have went through the wheel well, but wanted to give this a try this time, as the wheel wells are annoying with no access panels on the 2015+.

Airbox is a little bit of a pain to remove... but it came out eventually.

Battery is annoying cause the system really doesn't seem to like it being remove from power.

Lights powered on and no errors... Took it for a drive and a wash and can't wait to see the difference at night. Will post pics when I can.

Thank you @XenonDepot for this plug and play 5000K HID kit, and for posting the wiring picture. The lights worked first try with no errors!

Also thank you Pat @ptrudel for the instructions, I would not have known where to start without them. While I was in there I installed the 6000K LED fog lights from Xenon Depot and I'm happy with everything.

I'm annoyed at Jeep for the design, changing a lamp should not require such a big operation. lol

Here's a night shot. As soon as I get somewhere with a garage/flat surface, I'll show those pics as well.

Very impressed with the amount of light and the throw from the stock housings. No lines that I can see either, so I must have twisted them the right way! So much more distance and spread too. Seeing a lot of things I never would have seen before. I had HID's way back in '07 when I had my Mazda3 and always missed them. Really pleased with the hint of blue from 6k's. All in all, probably the first upgrade anyone should do to their KL. Thanks @XenonDepot!

Can you give us who have not done the install yet a hint as to what is the 'right way' ;-}

Absolutely. Compare above pics with a true HID-projector retrofit:
