Message sent.

I'll be messing with again when I get home.

Thinking about streaming my experience for the benefit of others who attempt this.

Did you remember to reverse the polarity on the connector to the PDM module? It will not fire if the black and white wires are not flipped.
I did that after I removed the wires from the connector and placed them directly into the car harness. With the connector that came with the kit the ligets will not work.

I had an issue where when I pulled the pins out to make the polarity swap they did not lock back into the connector. When I plugged it in the plug actually pushed the wires down in the connector and didn't connect them. You may want to check and make sure they are firmly locked in the plastic connector. IF they are not just carefully bend the locking pin out slightly and reinsert it and it should lock in.

I hope this makes sense.

I only removed one of the connectors.

I did mess one of the connectors up but I ended up stealing one from the one useless harness.... kinda know what I'm doing.

Last night I had to correct aircraft harness to car a dozen times last night.

So, a few notes and questions after I just did my install. Ordered the 2015 kit with the Philips bulbs. Started with the passenger side. I didn't want to remove the wheel, and found it was easy enough for me to go through the wheel well. The problem with the passenger side is the intake tube is right in the way of the bulb. I was able to go through the bottom to unscrew the cap, but had to remove the airbox in order to put the bulb in and finish the install.

After that, the driver's side was a piece of cake. It wouldn't have hurt to remove the battery, but i was able to get my hands in there easy enough. Hardest part was connecting the three wires after I put the bulb in.

Now, for the questions. One, I tried for a half hour to get the bulb to sit in there with the connector facing downward. I got two of the tabs in every time, but was unable to get it in there all the way. After taking the HID out, I played around with the old bulb, since I didn't care about breaking that one. The only way I was able to get it in there properly was with the connector facing 2 o'clock, if you are looking from the back to the front of the light. Is there a trick to getting it in there the other way?

The second question, I also ordered the Cree fog lights as well. However, after comparing the new and old side by side, it appears the new one is maybe a millimeter larger overall. I was unable to get even one of the tabs to connect to the housing. I tried using pliers to crimp the conenctor, tried the end of a screwdriver, and eventually tried a hammer. Without putting enough force to literally break the housing, I gave up. Did I just get a bad bulb maybe?
I had that same exact problem with my phillips, left one installed at the 6 o'clock the right side at the 9 o'clock. have a slight shadow to the right but other than that they are still aligned perfectly. I'm wondering if Jeep just has some sloppy processes when assembling these housings.

I am now having a problem where my passenger side does not always light. It was happening when I would unlock the doors only the drivers side would light and get a bulb out error. I have now noticed when starting the vehicle and headlights set to auto I sometimes get a bulb out error and the passenger does not start. Turning the lights off manually and back on seems to get it working but is kind of annoying. Anyone have a solution for this or is it something I have to live with? @XenonDepot could this be a bad PWM module or ballast?

Thanks

Yea, mine are both at about 10 o'clock if you're looking at the front of the car. The passenger side is fine, but my driver side has that dead spot right in front of the headlight. It's pretty annoying. I saw somewhere on here that you can file down one of the tabs so you can rotate it, but I don't know if I want to go through that hassle of taking it out again just for that.

So I have now figured out if I am driving with headlights off and I try to flash my lights using the high beam flash (I know HID need to Warm) the Passenger side does not fire and I get a headlight out warning. I have a feeling the PWM module may be bad but I will try switching it to the other side. I am hoping @XenonDepot may be able to shed some light on this as it seems the drivers side functions perfect and the passenger is hit or miss.

So after pulling everything apart and swapping PWMs, Ballasts and bulbs I have figured out I have a bad bulb. The bulb in question only lights about 50% of the time no matter how its triggered. I will be contacting @XenonDepot for a replacement bulb, but based off what i have read here I don't anticipate any problems.
