Lower grill

I searched the forum to find out how to remove the lower grill of TH. Could not find any instructions. Has anyone done this? I need to remove the grill and put led bar behind. I know mudman1 tried hard with no success. Anyoneelse knows how to do this without removing the whole bumper. Thanks

I was ready to pack that ******* with Tanarite and use my .308 on it. In the end I just went above / behind it. I had as much plastic off as I could and still it would not come out. I had every clip undone, meaning the grill was just floating in the hole and it would not budge. Too bad I don't think it would stay in that well if I kiss Bambi at 65 MPH.

Having taken the front bumper off myself, I can tell you that you definitely can not get it out without removing the bumper (or tearing it up)

Unfortunately it is only removable from behind from what I've noticed. Seeing as you're installing a light bar, removing the bumper might give you more room and help with the install?

before I had my RRO winch bumper installed, I just reached in from above in the hood. It was tight, but I didn't have a problem installing it. I have the 3.2L engine in mine too. I was able to put my hand and a cordless drill in there to screw in the self tapping screws in the lower bumper.

How was the light output behind the grill when you had it. I will check the space again. But it seemed too tight to me last time when I looked at the gap. Can you share a picture of the holes you drilled. I would like to see them. It will be helpfull.

Any pics of how you did the install? I am curious how you did it. To my knowledge I was the first here to mount one there. I like to compare work
