LED Fog Lights Installed

As mentioned in another thread, I had bought myself a set of LED fog light bulbs from ebay (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321290392936?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.ca%2Fsch%2Fi .html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D32129039 2936%26_rdc%3D1 )

Got 'em in today. Unless you have long, skinny arms and are a bit of a contortionist -- you might be better off popping off the front wheels for this one!

If you use the above mentioned bulbs or something similar, you will need to trim one small tab off of the new ones. There are 2 small tabs on one side, one on the other, the single little tab has to go as it is opposite to the PSW bulb.

Other than the trimming, these were very plug and play. No resistors needed, no bulb-out indication.

Bulb Comparison:

Crappy daylight picture with the LEDs and 4300K HIDs (I'll grab one in the dark when I can):

They are slightly bluer than the 4300K HIDs, but match up very nicely to the LED DRLs.

This looks awesome!
I so hope they perform at night. I ordered this same set and the tracking says "delivered Saturday 1-18". guess what wasn't in my box Saturday...
Today is a no-mail holiday so I'm HOPING they appear tomorrow. A few times in the past this has happened due to a slow route driver. He scan the stuff he "should have" delivered but was running late.
fingers crossed

Nice! Have you been able to notice if they are better/worse as far as output and pattern?

When I installed the HIDs, I couldn't tell if the original fogs were on or off. These ones really flood the foreground and road edges... And look gooooood!

I didn't have any problems with them, so I didn't think to test 'em. Based on their configuration, I'd wager that their draw is comfortable below the claimed 21w.

Is it still possible to test the draw on the old light?
