Calling all LED Headlight Users

Hi All,

I want to replace the Halogens that is currently in my car with an LED kit. Has anyone had experience with these? If not, I will just go back to an HID Kit.

Thanks in advance

I haven't myself changed any of my headlights, but if you just type "Led Headlights" in the search box above, you will find a lot of information--(if you haven't done that yet).

Just my 0.02,

I've read from a few members here who have gone LED for headlights, all from different vendors I think. Most who came back after the install complained of either flickering or bulb out errors (and no lights !). One posted a few weeks ago, from British Columbia, who got LEDs installed in a shop and they worked, but... the beam pattern was far from excellent compared to stock, or the XD HID kit. Now speaking of XD (Xenon Depot), they do sell LED headlight kits, but I don't think we've had a forum member try them yet. A XD rep has said many times that most LED kits advertise higher lumens than what they really produce, and that for now nothing beats the output of HIDs.

I would stay away from LED headlights, for now anyway. Output doesn't seem that great, I have yet to see a good LED beam pattern from our halogen projectors and I'd be afraid of finding myself with headlights that stop working in a few weeks or months because the Cherokee rejects them (one member posted a few days ago about such an experience..).

Any specific reason why you want LEDs ?
