I had this problem occur around the time when jeep sent out the warnings about the software update to prevent our cars from being hacked. I haven't gotten around to updating my software yet but I figured this was some kind of response to this because my car doesn't pick up the wireless network any more

And what I hope is the final update...they ordered me a new Head Unit.
I am really surprised they got to that solution so fast.

Such disappointment.
They shipped the wrong radio.

But that isn't the bad part.
My dealer says they CAN'T EVEN ORDER THE CORRECT ONE UNTIL JUNE 15TH.
It's April.

Seriously?

The dealer was speechless.
No explanation from FCA.
They think I should not expect to have a new radio until JULY!

Pathetic.
It's the radio.

I too am having this same issue. I have had the software updated and a new radio installed. The issue is still there. Another thing we have noticed that the 911 red light on the rearview mirror also stays on.


Dealer has ordered a new review mirror. Should have this part replaced by late next week.


Reverend, not sure why your dealer cannot get a replacement radio for you until July, ,my dealer had one in three days. You should not have to wait 2 months.

Someone could build a radio by freaking hand faster than 3 months. That's totally unacceptable.

Well that's certainly depressing Merrill.
My dealer didn't have an answer from FCA.

I'm still waiting to hear something from Andrea.
Maybe she can find out something.

This is just lame.
My son said the something about "finding" a Sierra wireless card and wiring it up.
He says he knows a guy.
I left it there.

The car drives.
I can listen to music.
It could be worse.
