Hey guys, I own an offroad shop in NC (Outlaw Offroad NC) and I have customer that wants a list of things done to her 2014 Trailhawk. The only thing I am having an issue locating is LED cube light mounts for the bottom of the A Pillar/lower windshield. I have seen one or two KL's online with them and was wondering who made them. Thanks for the help in advance.

If you could post a pic of the mounts in question it would be very helpful in nailing down if this is indeed the MFC mount or something someone else has made.

I've seen people make their own out of CB antenna mounts. I'll try to find the thread so you can see.

MFC A-Pillar are the only ones I'm aware of that are actually made for that purpose. There were complaints from a few about it damaging the paint, and I think they are a little pricey at 135/pair. Others might join in to share their experience, I personally don't have them but I was considering the Ebay ones due to the price and quite a few successfully using them.

I ran the MFC A pillar mounts for many miles, I received mine from the initial batch.

Manufacturing quality is nice, it's solid aluminum, weighs nothing, and feels professional.

My criticism, is the design. They were made to fit a single Cherokee, and due to factory allowances for error, no two Cherokees are the same. The front of the platforms hovered awkwardly, and the foam underneath looked cheap. Also, the back of the platforms touch the Cherokees body panels and now I have some nice deep nicks where the A Pillar mounts dug through the paint and into the primer. And, as most people mention, the hood hits tour lights.

I imagine it completely depends on the size of lights you buy. The 4" pair I bought have at least an inch of space between them and the hood. But yea the part that goes over the top of the fender is an issue. One side of mine fit pretty well, but the other side had more gap than I'd like. The 3M foam has done it's job though so far on mine for the ~year or so I've had them. I'm sure a better design could be made, but once again the aftermarket support sucks for the KL.

I've got a set of these I highly modified to my particular needs. Absolutely no interference with the hood. I got the CB antenna version and the only issue I had was that the area/fender bolt where this is mounted angels the mount forward so your antenna is not straight up and down. I corrected this by putting a wedge washer between the mount and the fender lip. Each of the mounts has a short piece of picatinny rail, a NMO antenna mount and a 2-pin Deutsch DT connector for DC power. When not needed, the lights and antennas can be easily removed for safe keeping and to draw less attention. With the rail interface, I can quick change between different lights and my GoPro. You can pretty much find or make a mount to go on to the rail for whatever you want.

You may want to contact the OP to see if there are any more available or the possibility of another run.
