tow hooks on non TH

Did a quick search but came up empty (could just be my phone not being as helpful as a PC for this task) but wondering if anyone has added tow hooks to the Latitude, Limited or Sport? Will the TH hooks fit or can they be adapted? Seems, at least, like the ones with upgraded suspensions should have come with hooks or mounting locations and bumper facial that would accommodate them.

I believe that they should work. As undid the lower part of the plastic bumper undercover, that runs under the front of the truck, and you can see where the tow hooks are supposed to go. The frame on the body of the Cherokee is quite impressive.

I looked at the parts on Mopar. They seem to mount in steel boxes, which in turn the boxes mount to the frame.
As long as that lines up with the small openings in the lower bumper on each side, it should work.
I'll have to wait for warmer weather to go under and look. I would bet at this point the dealer would have no idea.
I would love to get those Trail Hawk red hooks on my Cherry Red Limited.

When you pulled the undercover back did it appear that you could attach bolts to the spot where the hooks are suppose to go without obstruction?
On the Grand Cherokee postings I have seen that the lower bumper part has to be removed in order to get space for your hand to the bolts to install.
Thanks

the rear may be a little more difficult as the hook is incorporated into the bumper

The guy who started the tow hitch install using the OEM setup from Mopar hasn't gotten his parts yet but I saw the mock up on mopar.com. You can essentially order a rear frame that installs with the tow hitch and also get a rear tow hook. He mentioned that there are like 13 SKUs for the proper rear bumper and it took his dealership some time to figure it out but they got it right.

So it sounds like you can completely replace the rear with a tow hook/hitch setup of some kind.

here's the link:

http://www.mopar.com/jeep/cherokee/2...62467/42/3991/

Check out the top two right items. One is for the hitch and one for the hook. The drawing shows how it all gets installed. Tow hook is on the left in the picture and looks to slot next to the wiring I believe.

No idea what the final product looks like however I see zero reason why you couldn't order the rear bumper for a trailhawk and supporting sub frame items as it's not as dramatic in the lines like the front is. That is unless you simply cannot detect the rear frame or add anything. We won't really know I guess until someone does it or Mopar steps up.

I found them on the mopar site. 2014 Cherokee/ parts/frame bumper & fascia/ Hitch and tow hooks.
The interesting thing was that if you look under vehicles that they are for, you will see Sport, Latitude, and limited. So obviously we have the ability to install them. I am yet to find the instructions. Probably in the yet to be released shop manual. It looks like $500 for all the separate parts.
I did find that MoparOnlineParts.com had discounts knocking off $140.
If you take part #'s from Mopar to Mopar parts online you can get their prices.
Maybe there will be a complete kit at some point.

But would you have to cut the bumper for it to protrude?
