Upcoming Arizona offroading

I'm doing a hiking trip this weekend north of Oracle. (between Oracle and Dudleyville)
This is the last two segments in this part of the state for the Arizona Trail that my buddies and I are hiking.
Jeeps are the only way to get into some of these trailheads, so I get to do a little driving before and after the 28miles of hiking.

This will be the first test for three things:

1) Taking the newly replaced transmission offroad... knock on wood, it feels smooth. This will be the first time it gets pushed.

2) New tires - just got the BFG's installed. Not expecting any problems. Hoping for a noticeable improvement in traction.

3) Test the new side mirror mount for my GoPro. Hopefully I can get some good action shots.

Ended up not much opportunity to 4WD.
Great camping and hiking weekend though!

I have a short video of me running through the wash... sand-mode is a blast! I'll post once I get a chance to compress it a bit and upload to youtube.
