Off Road suspension components

Is there anywhere a comparison between the actual hardware components of the normal duty suspension of AD1 and the offroad suspension of AD2/ADL?

Not that I am aware of. Go to moparonlineparts.com lists part for all of the different models. You may be able to figure out what the differences are. For example the TH has different shock absorber part numbers for the TH and non-TH. The springs are different depending on accessories installed. Everything seems to be VIN specific. The off-road suspension is different. Go for it.

I saw a thread yesterday about this. It is about $2.1k in suspension parts to upgrade from ADI to ADII/TH. It is not as simple as shocks and springs.

Are you asking if there is a difference in the durability and quality across the parts?

Not exactly. I was basically asking what parts are different between AD1 and AD2/ADL. All I can find is the vehicle height and the fact that AD2/ADL is an "off-road suspension," but no details about what that means.

Ok, wasn't sure. There are definitely quite a few parts that are different; there are several members who have swapped many of the parts out to give their AD1 Cherokees the same ride height and similar suspension to an AD2
