Moab, UT this summer? Anyone?

Here is TH climbing the ****'s Gate.

Crazy stuff.

I'm planning on taking my TH to Moab, last week of July. I'm not an experienced off-roader, so ****'s Revenge is out of the equation, but I think Finns n' Things would be OK. Also, I'm not interested in camping. Hotel in Moab, and day trips to nearby trails. Anyone interesting in joining?

Actually ****'s Revenge is not that bad. The really nasty obstacles all have bypasses on them.

It is always better to off-road with another vehicle as a safety factor.

This jeep is more capable than I thought, had it rock crawling last week and was on 2 wheels at times and still kept crawling. Have never been to Moab which is sad since I live in ut. Plan on trying to go this summer ,not sure when I can though.

I'll be driving through Moab in July, but unfortunately we will be in my wife's car with all of the kids... so no fun.

But I would definitely be game to take a weekend off and meet others up there to see what the TH can do.

I might be. Would be coming from Southern AZ and would need to take time off work so let me know when you're thinking so I can check my schedule. I also am not experienced and don't want to damage the TH.

I have no desire to do crazy stuff, too. Tentatively 26th to 31st of July. Will know better by mid June. We'll be in touch.

Anyone else who would like to join is more than welcome.

Perhaps it's not, but as a beginner, I just want to start with something easy. Plus, on my TH everything is still stock. As for having a buddy on the trail (not to neglect beer and BBQ time) that's exactly why I posted this.
