Traction control (not Cherokee)

I do wish I could put the Cherokee on one of these and test the different modes. That would be cool. Or one of those test hills.

I think that it would perform as well, possibly better. Remember, the Audi, also, is basically FWD with a clutch pack driving the rear wheels. I definitely think that the Cherokee would do this with less wheel spin.

2016 Cherokee Trailhawk: Mango Tango Pearl Coat over Black.
OPTIONS: Every Available Factory Option/Package Except Remote CD Player.
MODS: Whispbars; Mopar Cargo Cover; Mopar Cargo Mat; Mopar/Kicker Speaker Upgrade; Ziebart Undercoating.
FUTURE MODS: Remote CD Player; Replace Sub Speaker; Mopar Rock Rails; Rear Fog Lights; aFe CAI.

I agree. But it would be fun to see how the different modes reacted or even low range.

I love seeing technology in action like this personally.

When I had my Commander with Quadra Drive II (3 electronically controlled LSDs), there was a video of one going up a ramp with only one wheel touching. The Quadra Drive II on the new GC only has an ELSD on the rear. TC does the rest (cheap version!). LOL

Any decent awd can do this test with ease, try put both rollers on one side or diagnonal, then you shall see what differentiate a true awd vs the rest.

You'd be surprised. I've seen videos of trucks and suvs trying to do the icy hill test and it's astonishing how many fail to negotiate an obstacle. Similar to off chamber climbs with one tire in the front and rear in the air yet it can't manage it.

From the video @Len1304 posted and the videos that auto followed that one, you can learn a lot about BLD and keeping on the gas to let the computer do it's work. From the one @NScherry posted you can learn you were smart to buy a Cherokee ;-)
