Cool Is the Yuntu concept a hint at the Cherokee redesign?

Jeep showcased the Yuntu concept at the Shanghai Auto Show. While many think that the conceptual vehicle will eventually make it to become the new Grand Wagoneer, of more interest (to me at least ) is whether the new Cherokee redesign will take styling cues from the Yuntu. Judge for yourself:

I read that there is going to be a Wagoneer (2-row) and Grand Wagoneer (3-row), both body on frame, built in the same building where Rams are built. Talk is cheap!

I think that a mild redesign to the Cherokee would be to not have the belt line kick up on the front door windows, but just continue straight to the LED DRLs. The leading edge of the A pillars could turn in and run down to the edges of the grill. Then, raise the headlights. In the rear, lower the tail lights. Done.

The Yuntu us apparently a concept of a PHEV version of the upcoming Jeep K8 (stretched Cherokee for China market)

It's more of a next gen Grand Cherokee design sneak peak than a refreshed 2018 Cherokee design sneak peak

Not a fan of that front clip. It's too generically "grand Cherokee". The Rengade, the old, and new Compass, and the Grand Cherokee all wear variations of that grill and front. I went from feeling the KL was "not Jeep" to loving our front end. I wish it had a better approach angel, but I love the look.
