Thumbs down WARNING WARNING Firmware Flap

WARNING:

I recently had my 2014 Grand Cherokee ECO diesel climate control system updated. Now the auto speed will not increase when you get in the car and it's really hot inside. It runs at a max of 3, when it should be running at 7. They claim that is the way it is now suppose to work. No going back and they closed my case saying it works as it should. BS, all their other cars work at high speed fan until cool. Car is really uncomfortable now. I didn't pay 1000's to get a manual solution!!!! My 2000 Jeep worked as it should for 14 years! DO NOT LET THEM UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE!!!!

Just for the sake of you being here, I keep mine on A all of the time. I have never heard the fan blow at 7! I took mine to the dealer yesterday to have the oil changed. When I got my Jeep back, someone had switched the controls to recirc, AC, and max fan. As soon as I put it back in A, the fan slowed down to where it usually is. I very rarely hear it run. Mu 2014 Journey Crossroad Auto HVAC worked the same way in A.

On remote start it would blow like a tornado and then slow down as the door was opened. Doesn't do that now. Maybe they changed the programming on the KL too.

I don't have the auto climate on mine, but I think I have all the possible updates on my 2014 TH and mine blows like a tornado when I remote start until I open the door...
