I was wondering if there was another TH in the DFW area. I haven't seen any but then I'm more East.
My wife's original carry piece was the LCR 38+P. She now carries a Sig P238. The LCR is a fine revolver and accurate, even for some fun shooting at the range (unlike the LCP or PF9) and last time I looked, CDNN had them on sale in the $360 range.

A right hand black nylon holster w/belt clip & clip it to the door 'junk holder' gives you easy, quick access with your left hand.

That really works well for me 'cause I'm left handed! :-)

Carry varies depending . 9mm, 400 Corbon, 380, .38 Super or .45 ACP in handguns.

I keep my P229 on me. If I have to take it out of the holster, it lays on the hump in the back for easy access. And if it has to go under cover, my Go Bag has room for it inside. I keep this http://sotechtactical.com/collection...-o-tech-go-bag, in black, in my Jeep. It has been in 3 vehicles total. Fits perfect on the floor, in the rear, behind a seat. Just got lucky I guess as it is out of sight yet in easy reach. Plus I push for USA made any time I can.

KelTec PM9 fits nicely in the cubby top center on the dash.

I was just staring at that compartment today wondering what would fit in there and now that I know I'm going to have to look into that more...

Quick access and - for righty's anyway - on the strong side.
Illinois is the same way. The firearm can not be visible, period.
If its not visible, however you do it, then its concealed.
The problem I have is a loaded firearm, stashed in your vehicle, and just "stepping out for a minute" with it unsecured.
Its better to keep it holstered on my person, then I know its secured. If I have to go into a "forbidden area" then it gets locked in the vehicle and the alarm is set.
