Admit it... You name your vehicles.

It's been a tradition in my family to name our vehicles. Some of my favourites have been a 70's era diesel Volkswagen Rabbit named Klink, or our current Red Pontiac Vibe we call Baron Von Vibe. My wife and I have been throwing around a few for our KL like Radar or Jeepwell Q. Klinger--both inspired by M*A*S*H.

Anyone else have names for certain vehicles you wish to share?

Currently we have "The Jeep", "The Truck", "My Bike" and "Your Bike". We also previously had "The Subaru"

I was a good kid, now I'm making up for it....

I think of naming your car as an extension of something personal. This is your personal vehicle, so it should feel personal to you. Almost as though it's a companion who is there for you every step of the way...when it doesn't break down of course.

My first car, a 2001 VW Golf 2.Slow, was named, Lucy. My 2005 Mini Cooper S is called, Egan, and unofficially at this point, I've named my Trailhawk as, Badger. Why Badger for the TH? I guess I looked at, given the color, the overall styling of it, and considering a friend of mine said, "Living in Badgertown with your Badgermobile." I figured since Badgermobile was too long, I'd just shortened it to simply, Badger.

I name my vehicles, and I am very much proud of that.

My wife introduced me to car naming. I'm not all that into it, but I don't mind. Daughter got the last word in for this Cherokee : Dexter. Yeah... serial killer car, I love it
