Looking to commission a 3-d printer project.

Hey all. Everyone is very helpful in regards to Jeeps, but I'm hoping somebody could help me in the area of 3-D printing. I recently started a fish tank and need a way to keep my gravel separate. In the picture below I am using cardboard but would really like to have a custom made wall that can stay submerged in water and not harm the fish. Is this something feasible?

I'm not involved in the 3d printing aspect, but do you really need something to keep it separated? It would seem to me that, unless you have fish that are going to be digging in the gravel, the gravel won't move around much.

A friend of mine did something like that using wire mesh cut to fit.

Is this something that really needs to be 3D printed? Some flexible plastic of some nature is almost ready-made. Also, 3D printed will be a bit rough-textured which means you might get stuff attracted to grow on it (may/not be what you want).

Hey, yeah! That translucent stuff that they put in fluorescent light fixtures. You can buy it at Lowe's/Home Depot in 2x4 sheets. Just cut it to size with a sharp razorblade/ utility knife and it would be perfect. It's clear, flexible, and cheap!
