I was actually pretty optimistic when I opened the box. They actually did the best packaging on parts like this I have ever seen. Of course this doesn't mean there are not damaged spots in the powder coat. There are several clips and light spots, and since there is no damage to the packaging or cuts in the wrap it means they were there when they wrapped them .

I wish there was a way to order this bare and save some money. I have never ordered finished Jeep armor and gotten it damage free.

Still no word from them.... I basically gave them a week to correct the issue or I will be asking for a refund and they can have it back. I am capable of making my own and am getting to the point I would prefer it. I thought I was saving some time and headache with so much already on our plate. Turns out I was wrong....

LOL. The cost is the main one, but time is also a killer. The rails freight on the web site was calculated at $1505 US and stuff from the US takes 4 to 6 weeks to arrive on average.... (bought a Mustang seat for my bike - 8 weeks in transit...) When I sent them an email to question it they said they could do them for around $475 freight

On the other side of the world, I buy stuff from the UK and it's both cheaper and quicker than getting stuff from within Australia. Bought a set of vacuum balance gauges for tuning the bike, $30 Aus freight and were here in 3 days. Bought a set of Stainless Steel brake lines from the UK and they arrived at my door in 4 days, and were cheaper including freight (and quicker) than picking them up from the Australian Distributor that happens to be less than 2km from home..

Cheers, Dave.

Now I'm worried about my RRO step rail order. I hope it arrives correct. How hard could it be to send the correct product? Lol

I still have not heard a word from them.... If I am not holding a replacement by next Monday I will be issuing a charge-back and making my own. I hope it doesn't come to this.....

Since we had yet to hear anything, the wife called for an update...

I don't want to go into all the details, but we were supposed to be called back within the hour.... that has now passed without a call. (Imagine that!)

This is when you have to accept their failure to accept any wrongdoing quickly. They are very lax when it comes to admitting fault, which I would assume is almost every order of theirs. I don't know how a company can operate under such terrible quality control or customer service.

But then again, when you are the only company out there doing a platform specific product line, you can do whatever you want and continue to get away with it until further competition comes forward
