I agree, it is also the preferred method for handloading, and since I am not loading thousands of pistol cartridges at a time, the progressive presses are mostly unnecessary.

Luckily the kit comes with almost everything you could want for reloading including a Hornady reloading manual!

I am planning on working up from 10% under, up to the recipe's listed powder load to make sure things are good, but I am hoping these will shoot as well as or better than the box FGMM that they liked the best.

I have been into reloading for about two years. I load 380, 9mm, 45acp, 38sp/357 and soon 5.56. I have gotten into shooting IDPA matches and reloading helps save a few $'s. just built my first ar so looking foreword to loading rifle cartridges for the first time. Reloading and shooting has been a great father/son activity that keeps us talking. Oh, and my wife has proven to be a pretty got shot too.

That took forever and a half... but I got my press mounted, I made a base for my powder measure, set up my light, put together my new stool, got my dies sorted, and got my bullet depth set to exactly 2.800"... somehow it's 4 am though, so I think I'm going to go to bed now.

I used to have a nice progressive setup for pistol calibers, but sadly, I don't have the time or the space anymore. I just buy ammo by the case and enjoy pretty much the same cost savings.

It's hard to do that with rifle ammo, for accurate ammo you have to shell out some $$$.
