We only got a few inches between Sunday night, and Monday (and the GF was there to keep me warm), but now the temps have dropped quite a bit. Currently around 7F here, but after tomorrow, supposed to get above freezing for the remainder of the week, and into the next.

I miss those couple of days a few weeks ago in the 60s where I wore shorts.

I'm at 16" solid thick snow. Had to hit it a few times with the blower to reduce my workload later on

WOW... Easy (and crazy) for me to say but... I'd love to be in the middle of that right now... I would... just ask my wife

Earlier I mentionned NYC were in the transition zone with freezing rain and warmer air pushing up. Well, I looked a few more times and the cold air mass won over warm air and they didn't get rain after all, and I wonder how much snow they got...
Now it's Boston that is in a transition zone, warm air pushing in and it seems they will get some rain for sure now. What a mess...

Where I was working today was right on the river and the wind was blowing 20-30 out of the NE...the plows were trying to keep up since it was snowing 1-2" per hour and blowing. Kind of funny to see them go by and add to the berm they created around my Jeep, I think they thought they were 'showing me' for parking in the road by the house (private community, plowed by maintenance guys) When I arrived, didn't feel like hauling my tools from the parking area 30 feet away in the snow ;-)

They were there when I came out, gave a swipe at the windows, got in and busted right out and turned around in another 2' plow berm and hit the road...

When I got home, there was only about a foot in my driveway and my wife was out playing with the dog. Ahh, winter....

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

wound up at home cuz the office closed. daughter is home for spring break - hahahaha feel bad for her. Wifey was home cuz the school she teaches at was closed. kind of a weird lazy day. I think we got close to 12"

I had really been hoping for the 6-10" originally forecast, then it all just pushed north and I was left with about an inch of wet ice. Still haven't gotten to play with snow mode.
