How not to pull a Jeep out of the mud

http://autoweek.com/article/wait-the...n=awdailydrive

I thought people might get a great laugh from this video. I get online content from my Autoweek Magazine subscription, and when i first saw this i thought it was a joke and couldn't believe it was real but as i kept watching i realized these people were going to do the stupidest thing i have ever seen. The guy that owns the Wrangler has to be hating that this video is on the internet. I couldnt stop laughing after i saw it. Hope you all enjoy this and it reminds people to NOT drink and offroad.

So, all of the victim, the rescuer, and the bystanders didn't see that coming????

It looks like they tried grabbing from the roll bar.

It looked like the roll bar to me too, that's why i thought it was a joke and they were just kidding around and would not seriously try to pull it out that way.

Watching the video again, I'm guessing that nobody could get straight shot front/back without getting stuck themselves. It still doesn't explain/excuse the thought process that led to it. Maybe there was a "hold my beer and watch this," that wasn't caught on camera.

That's what happens when you have a body-on-frame vehicle. Had this been a unibody, it would've worked like a charm.

But in all seriousness (if there is anything honestly serious about this), I don't know what was funnier, the moment the body ditches the frame and says, "I'm outta here," or the guy laughing his butt off in the process.

That doing the rounds again! I remember laughing at that before I bought my Wrangler! It came out in 2008. But still funny!

Sent via Tapatalk from a small keyboard on my phone with fat thumbs and no glasses...

Cheers, Dave.
