Hit by a car as a pedestrian

Day 1 of pest control was lame... I got hit by a car that didn't stop, my left arm took its mirror right off, and I've got the Mirror and a sticker with some numbers on it, but idk if they can ID it.

Traffic cameras and such down the way might be able to ID the vehicle. You never know how active your PD can be as sometimes, since you probably have the time and direction, many places will let a detective look over security cameras or ATM stuff because in many places there are cameras everywhere. That and most PDs can determine make and model and often get close to the MY with a mirror as long as it wasn't a generic. Plus filling out a report, I'm sure there is a lot you can remember.

Make the call. The vehicle in question could have easily have mowed down somebody's kid or wife.

My arms alright, its bruised and sore, I reported the case but they have "limited resources". I gave the officer the mirror and she is combing the residential area searching for the vehicle without a right mirror. The case is going to be listed as "inactive". So idk, this is the D.C metro area, so they've got other degenerates to deal with as well.

As soon as I got hit I clutched my arm and hit the deck, I only got a glimpse of the vehicle as it rounded the car

Yikes.... glad you are OK, but you didn't even keep a souvenir?? Pretty sad that a hit-n-run with some physical evidence went straight to "inactive".

Glad you are ok, unfortunately, that's a regular welcome to the DC Metro, probably was a Diplomat from some dinky poop, country. They get to the US and get those Diplomat plates and drive however they want and the cops can't touch them.

Hopefully karma, will catch up with that loser and they get it back 3 fold.
